Meet Andy – Your Ultimate Surf Advisor
You could say Andy’s been part of the surf travel world since birth — his parents met in Bali, and he was riding waves there by the age of 7. At 13, his dad took him to surf the legendary Cloudbreak, and by 18, he was chasing swells in the Maldives on a father-and-sons trip with his younger brother, Jack.
From the east coast of Australia to over 20 surf-rich countries around the globe, Andy’s life has revolved around waves. He’s competed in local comps across New South Wales and even made it to Round 4 of a 1-star WQS event at Puerto Escondido. He’s tackled iconic breaks like Teahupo’o and Frigates, earning respect in lineups wherever he goes.
Beyond surfing, Andy has played a key role in developing six surf-related resorts and projects in Indonesia, and he’s currently building The Ridge Surf Lodge in South Sumatra — a dream project born from decades of experience and stoke.
