Simeulue Island, located off the west coast of Sumatra, is a remote paradise renowned for its uncrowded waves and vibrant natural beauty. With around 100 kilometers of coral-fringed coastline, the island caters to surfers of all skill levels. Its most famous break, "The Peak," delivers reliable left and right-hand barrels in a perfect A-frame, while advanced riders are drawn to "Dylan’s Right," a sharp, fast-breaking right-hander. Those just starting out can head to "Alus Left," a mellow beach break tucked into a sheltered bay, making it ideal for beginners. For more challenging sessions, experienced surfers can take a boat to Teupah Island, home to the hollow, powerful wave known as "Tea-Bags."

But Simeulue offers much more than just world-class surf.
